Nicole Walters, MA

Behavioral Technician

Background

Nicole Walters completed her undergraduate degree at Washington & Jefferson College, and her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Immaculata University. She is in the process of completing a Doctorate of Psychology at Immaculata University and plans on graduating in 2026. Nicole is in the process of finding her clinical specialization through her practicum work and dissertation. At present, she is gaining experience in theoretical orientations such as trauma-informed care, as well as psychodiagnostics and neuropsychological testing through her work outside of school. Nicole has experience working with adults and geriatric populations as well as individuals of marginalized communities such as those with intellectual and developmental abilities and the individuals identifying as LGBTQA+.

“Through clinical evaluations and interventions, I strive to recognize the uniqueness of every client. This may be a stressful time in a client’s life, but I will work to make this process as relaxing as possible. I hope to meet each client where they are, providing clarity and identifying areas of growth for each client.”

Nicole joined our practice in 2023 as a Doctoral practicum student under the supervision of Dr. Gransee. Due to continued interest and learning opportunities in forensic psychology, she has opted to stay on beyond the completion of her student contract.

“It has been a pleasure working with Dr. Gransee. He takes the role of supervisor seriously, creating a welcoming environment for learning and questioning human behavior. I know every client he treats receives a thorough evaluation and the highest quality of care. I am proud to now be a part of this team”.
